On February 2, 2017, the five of us will depart on a family adventure to circumnavigate the planet. This trip had been determined years ago, with the goal of travelling when Nate was 10 years old. Nate turns 10 on January 29. We missed departing by four days.
In March 2014, we applied to our respective Boards requesting a deferred salary leave, which were granted by both.
In July 2017, Cindy started to book flights, and has been busy confirming the unlimited number of details that are necessary for a trip of this magnitude. We are now into our final stages of preparation, and with just over one month to go before take off, we are busy planning with the hope of not forgetting that one important item. However, as we continue to shovel out from one snow storm after another, travel close to the equator will be welcomed.
