Well that was a cold night, dropping down to 8 C. Glad it is our last night of camping. A young man from France who is camping next
to us will inherit our tents, sleeping matts, and some cookware. After freezing last night, good
riddance. Those tents certainly served us well, over 20 years worth of going coast to coast in North America, and around the world in 1997. Our drive to the Brisbane
Airport is thankfully non-eventful. From
freezing last night, we land in Darwin in 33 C temperatures. Now we are in the tropics. After getting settled in our apartment, we
head to the local market for a look, some food and some entertainment. The walk home is also very entertainment as
we meet up with a very interesting couple.
The boys love the conversation. Looking
forward to a sleep in a bed. Getting
soft in my old age. Ten days of
Australian camping are enough.
