The road train is a common sight on the outskirts of Darwin. The Stuart Highway, which we on for a while when travelling north of Adelaide, goes all the way to Darwin, and we saw many three and four length semi trailers. Four seems to be the max. Today we checked out the Italian Festival just down the street from us, and then had an enjoyable afternoon by the pool. At 33 C today, it was almost as warm as it was back in Carman, which was 37 C. Lucky we were here where it is nice and cool. Had a great visit with two couples who are true travellers. Hoping our retirement will look like theirs.
